About CaVinea

A gem of modern architecture to be discovered in the green surroundings of the hill of Torre San Quirico: a wonderful little cosy house, which is perfectly equipped and furnished in grand style.

CaVinea is steeped in the tranquillity of woods with chestnut, oak trees and beeches, at a 350m-altitude. It is at the foot of a historic vineyard, which was recovered and renewed in 2001 by Alessio Fornasetti, who followed modern criteria concerning grapevine-cultivation and ageing in cellars for its SommoClivo wine: a “Nebbiolo” red wine that is characterised by great fineness and elegance. In 2016, it received the prestigious Sole Veronelli award.

CaVinea is located in the hilly area of the Azzate municipality; it has got its own fenced-in garden and can take in 5 to 8 people who love cultural and sports events, as well as virtuous wine-and-food tours.
